you will die alone out here in the black  is a game about the horrors of inevitability, the knife’s edge dangers of space exploration, and about what drives you to survive when you find yourself alone. In it you take one the role of a single researcher who, by some accident, had found them self stranded and alone in space with dwindling resources. Balance managing the systems that keep you alive with completing the research you set out here to do and taking time to your self in the face of inevitable death. 

you will die alone out here in the black is inspired by In Other Waters by Gareth Damian Martin and The Martian by Andy Weir. It is a hack of You are not Alone in this Life also by me and is based on Alone Games by Takuma Okada.

To play you will need a deck of cards, a way to write that lets you count words either manually or automatically, a six-sided die, a timer, and someplace to record your changing stats.
