War in the year 3000 is a game about thinking war is bad, it is also a game about thinking war is cool. Soldiers live and die in the Blitz Zones, tracts of land set aside for conflicts that are fought to the last man and broadcast live on TV. They climb into their Military Entertainment Combat Hardware, or M.E.C.H., and the fight for survival and fame.
War in the Year 3000 is a gmless hack of Lazers and Feelings by John Harper. The stats are Doubt and Cool, representing your ability to either break or leverage the world around your characters. With prompt tables and set up questions it’s a great game for wen you want to sit down and play something with no prep.

Ran a quick 2 person game of this which went really well! The setting is just enough to really springboard off of, and I love the cool and doubt system.
